Stacey Poole is a Certified Family Law Specialist, and has practiced exclusively in family law since being admitted to the bar in 1999. Stacey began her legal career as a law clerk for Lerner Law Offices and became an associate attorney upon passing the bar exam. In 2008, she became a partner in the firm, and the firm name was changed to Lerner · Poole, LLP.

As a family lawyer in San Francisco, Stacey practices in all areas of family law, specifically divorce/legal separation, child custody, and child and spousal support matters. She also drafts and reviews prenuptial agreements, and is a trained family law mediator who works with couples who want to resolve matters between themselves without the use of the court system. Stacey's advanced degree in Taxation benefits the firm's clients greatly with any matter involving money: divorce, property division, child support and prenuptial agreements to name a few.

Stacey grew up in Portland, Oregon and graduated from Portland State University in 1995. She attended law school at Golden Gate University, where she obtained both a J.D. (1999) as well as an LL.M. in Taxation (2001). She is a member of the State Bar of California Family Law Section, the Bar Association of San Francisco, and the San Mateo County Bar Association. Since 2005, Stacey has been a guest lecturer in the San Francisco State University Legal Clinic. She belongs to the Rotary Club of San Francisco as well as the Junior League of San Francisco, and since 2000 has volunteered her time with the Volunteer Legal Services Program of the San Francisco Bar Association.
